Holding Trevor is a sometimes funny, sometimes scathing inspection of a group of friends and lovers that offers a prescient and biting analysis of men and women struggling to make sense of their lives and relationships, all the while reaching every which way but into their own hearts to do so.

I don't know where in this movie there's bad acting, but the story itself had great promise till one of the characters makes a totally inexplicable decision and ruined it for me.. Could have been a 5-star film otherwise.

There is not one sumpathetic character in the whole thing. I was pleasantly surprised by the creative dialogue among Trevor and his two best friends, and Jake is an endlessly entertaining character. Holding Trevor is a 2007 American gay romantic-drama written by and starring Brent Gorski as Trevor and produced and directed by Rosser Goodman.

Good acting and production values make this film a good choice for an evening of entertainment. Trevor is finally ready to call it quits with Darren over his drug problem. Yes Jay Brannan is very gorgeous, but his good looks are undermined by the very snide and unpleasant character he plays in this very very very very boring film. It provides both drama and comedy and the interactions between the characters are excellent. There is almost no dramatic tension. The only thing this had going for it were some of the leads are cute.

As this was a gift for someone else, I can only comment on the service provided by Amazon - and that was simply excellent as always. Nothing about it is interesting - not the plot, not the characters, not the dialogue, not the situations they find themselves in. This is another load of rubbish. Right at what seems the wrong moment. Almost ready to throw in the towel, Trevor meets the ever so charming Ephram. what a god-awful film. Brent Gorski, who also wrote the thoughtful script, stars in the title role as a man stuck in a dead-end job at an L.A. telephone answering service who is gathering courage to break off with his lover, Darrell (Christopher Wyllie), a heroin addict. It’s pretty safe to say that he won’t find enlightenment in his strung-out boyfriend Darrell. Perhaps a sequel would be in line. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. The "catty" friend, Jake is a very annoying friend, who appeals to all things stereotype, who I think is in the film to do nothing more than add a song, which ended up being very self indulgent; both of the director and the actor's ego!!

I really cannot recommend this film.

Everybody's looking for something. Rent Holding Trevor (2007) starring Brent Gorski and Christopher Wyllie on DVD and Blu-ray. Some of the characters have a tiny bit too much angst but generally well done, well written and acted. An excellent video with real life issues. It leaves the viewer contemplating what their decision would be had we had those choices. Holding Trevor is a good way to spend a couple of hours.
