I was surprised to find that it had alternating chapters of Discworld focus (entertainment) and our real world focus (science). If you've avoided topics like gravitational forces, quantum theory or evolution, then this is the book for you! It is a sequel to The Science of Discworld, and is followed by The Science of Discworld III: Darwin's Watch. But Rincewind’s actual, physical body is still in Unseen University.

That's us: Pan narrans. Eh, so disappointed.Although I loved the book, the title is maybe a little misleading. This book is incredibly hard to categorize, it contains elements of non-fiction, fiction, humour and some good old admonishing. The Science of the Discworld II is another highly readable book from Pratchett, Stewart and Cohen that uses the interaction between the Discworld and the Wizards accidental `roundworld' universe to teach some interesting ideas about evolution.
