1880418738 Despite not having read the actual short story, I could tell that this was King's work and not anyone else's. He is injured and taken in by a group of nurses/cannibalistic witches, named the Sisters of Eluria. This is short story by Stephen King featuring Roland. I love the Dark Tower series, so, of course this is a 5 star! Of course I said the same thing last year already. Other family members provided a small house in Durham and financial support. In 2002, it was collected and included in King's Everything's Eventual . Which I'm planning to read this year. We’d love your help. This was my third reread, and I suspect I won’t ever revisit it. It is the seventh comic book miniseries based on Stephen King's The Dark Tower series of novels. Published Here we are exposed to the potent Dark Tower story threads that fans of tWhen Roland is involved, only good can come of it and this short story (that I originally read in the compilation book Everything's Eventual) served his story well.

If your like me and love the Dark tower series then dont miss this story, It doesnt matter if you choose to read this before durning or after you read the dark tower novels, This is a great story to get you started with the Series though and worth reading This short story takes place after the fall of Gilead, during the early days of Roland's quest for the Dark Tower. Great short story that has the added benefit of fleshing out Roland more. A Fantastic short story about Roland Deushain of gilead along his quest to find the dark tower, this story takes place before Roland meets up with Jake, Eddie and his other compainions. Then taken to the little sisters who heal him with little bugs that sing. It is issued in a foil-stamped slipcase. It was like those horror stuff that one likes read alone in dark. It's fine as a stand-alone story, and has elements to the tower series: slow mutants, the concept of ka, his childhood friends, Cort, and the one and only Susan Delgado. It is a good way to ease into the Dark Tower Series. Roland's wounds are eventually healed, but he is powerless to escape from his malevolent benefactors, who keep him weakened with potions.

The Little Sisters of Eluria is a short story originally published in 1998 in a collection called Legends: Short Novels by the Masters of Modern Fantasy. I actually think I learned more about Roland from this story than I did in all of The Gunslinger.5/3/15: This was a good story. In this one, we are introduced to Roland who is searching for the Dark Tower.

Hated the hero and felt nothing for the villains.Boo! My favorite parts of the D.T. It was like those horror stuff that one likes read alone in dark. It takes place before book 1 and after the events of 75% of book 4... confused? He notices another "patient" next to him who bears a matching medallion, and Roland comes to learn that the dead man whose medallion he removed is the brother of his fellow patient. Anyone interested reading in Dark tower series but haven't decided yet should check this one for your taste.Enjoyed this immensely. Anything Roland touches turns to gold and this story is no exception. Which I'm planning to read this year.
